Astorflex - family-made shoes with over 200 Years of expertise that began in the quaint town of Castel d’Ario, Mantova, Italy. Established in 1820, their factory has been passed down through generations of the same family. Originating with handmade footwear and wooden soles, the current CEO and owner, Fabio Travenzoli, has expanded the brand to new heights since joining in 1984. Continuing the legacy, his son Giulio Travenzoli is also part of the 7th generation family business.

During the rise of industrialization after the First World War, the "Fratelli Travenzoli" brand expanded their range of footwear using the "ideal" technique of outer stitching along the sole. Today, Astorflex continues to incorporate this method in the majority of their shoes, along with welt stitching.
