Conceived as a tightly curated selection of coordinates, Snakes imagines each collection as a uniform, each piece being worn in different combinations to make it easy to get dressed and ensuring a lightly packed suitcase for travel. Every collection builds off the last so that anyone who has bought a Snakes piece in the past can seamlessly work new pieces into their wardrobe.

As Snakes looks forward, there will be a focus on sustainable fabrics (especially vintage and dead stock) and a continued commitment to paying the talented people who produce the collection a living wage. Snakes produces only what is needed and never more than what is wanted, reducing waste and ensuring that your Snakes piece will be one of only a few. Snakes strives to provide interesting, quality clothing that does no harm.

Snakes was started by Fiona Curtis in 2018 and is designed in collaboration with Heather Young.
